What are pens?
Pens are tools which are used in writing. They work by the use of ink which runs through a storage to a small opening.
Pens are mostly used to write on papers though there are special pens designed to write on other surfaces. For example, we have light pens which are electronic and works as an input device on computer screens.
Pens are also similar to pencils which are also used in writing on papers but contain a thread of lead as against ink which runs through Pens.
Pens can be used in writing on surfaces other than paper. Other surfaces on which pens can be used include wooden surfaces, clothes, plastic materials, cemented surfaces, metallic surfaces etc.
Pens come in various shapes, sizes and designs which are adapted to suit specific purposes. Therefore we have various types of pen from different manufacturers suited for different users.
